The Karavella Hotel in Riga is a 12 storey building about 3 km from the Old Town. It is close to the City’s major port, located at the mouth of the Daugava River. It takes somewhere between 20 and 35 minutes to walk into Old Riga from the hotel. Taxis are readily available to transport guests to the City Centre, where the main landmarks and famous historic and cultural features of Riga can be found.
